I don’t have chaps if I did, my hide would certainly be chapped. I don’t have a cell phone. I don’t . I rarely speak on the phone, hard as it is to believe, I really don’t live on it as communication. I don’t know how to text on a phone, well I don’t have a cell phone. I tried once on the spouses Iphone but my nails get in the way .
When the house phone rings and it is for me, my family makes jokes they will mark it on the calendar the day the phone was for mom. (Type of calls not coming from doctors or teachers) A few of my friends have declared, wow you picked up the phone and made a call, I hear your voice over the line. I don’t talk on the phone that often.
I have had the same argument with my childs doctor with a few days between. She trying to tell me no one called me to tell me she was no longer taking patients. I hate it, I really hate it, it does piss me off when some one tells me I didn’t have a phone conversation and try to convince me I made up the story.
I have had similar problems with my own family trying to convince me I never had a phone conversation with another person in the family.
When I did have a cell phone there was only 5 minutes a month on it for at least 2 years. When I am on the phone, and since its so rare, I do remember discussions. Unless of course something is told to me in confidence then I tend to forget subject. If topic strikes me particularly odd or shocking I don’t forget it. I don’t forget the phone conversations I have, my phone usage is soo little has been for many years.
I have a strong will and mind, telling me repeatedly I never had a phone conversation will not brainwash me into thinking it never happened.
One great way to piss me off, tell me I didn’t have a phone conversation with I know I had. I will laugh if one of my friends made joke of this said you never called me. Its a 3rd person who wasn’t on the line telling a conversation never existed and they dont let up about it. It is kinda funny, I keep my calm (vent later) that 3rd person always gets their feathers ruffled. When I stay calm its easy for me to walk away from it. These people need to take classes in interrogation maybe some fear factors measured in, there is no way Im going to back down from a topic, I know I had . I rarely have phone calls of the ones I do have, I remember , sooo shove it in your ear. your ears could use a good cleaning out cus your not hearing me.

I often wonder why people do not take me seriously. I wonder is it because I joke about many things. Is it because, I don’t put my foot down,or a create a scene, throw myself down with a tantrum. I do forgive those who doubt me, In one way or another I prove them wrong without throwing something in their face. I could list a long list of examples, what is the point.
I’m cursing the timing of various infections I have going on right now. I’m praising my body’s fierce fight . Yes, sometimes I do feel I have to pat my shoulder, no one else will.
I knew, I had an infection when I had mentioned & pointed it out to specialist didn’t believe it was so. Infection under skin being going on for months. Yesterday morning I woke up a good size rock under my skin, as the day passed more and more painful. I found prescription strength Tylenol, took 3, less than hour later took 2, in hour later 2 more. I thought to self to ice the area. I wasn’t expecting, green gooo, it is rank, one of the most disturbing smells ever. I told my spouse my stomach was meessssed up, I don’t think he believed me. 12 hours later I lost my stomach , I hadn’t a sip of water of coffee. I managed to freak out my youngest but never so thankful there is a sink in the kitchen.
Pounding headache, stomach that still had food in it from 12 hours before and infection that hasn’t stopped oozing my limb muscles are aching. I have no idea if I have a fever. Whatever, as long as my body is putting up a good fight to heal itself all its ill’n places. I’m going to crawl back into bed now. I think, I’m out of my mind just slightly.
I have things to do today and tomorrow, mind like bull.
This is dedicated to my friends who have small children. As the children grow they don’t need the step stool to step up to pottie or sink. I recycled that step stool . I have limited counter space, I use the child’s step stool on the counter as shown in picture

Like seeing brains being blown out, by a weapon and special effects , this is your movie. If you love blood effect spewed everywhere then this is the movie for you. If you enjoy movies have to pay attention to every line to know what the heck is going on, this movie is for you. If you dont have 100% control of your bladder, this movie not for you, no good place to take restroom break, unless able to set pause button.
In short, high action, down with the man ie. evil corporations -top banana who wants a new world order, car chase, special effects, question of immortality, good guy goes to hell and back kicks everyone’s ass who stands in his way for his ultimate freedom. middle of the road, stereo typical guy flick.

Sanding frame of primer coat was completed, washed and dried, painted (first coat in pic). It was very helpful we were able to hang the frame.The frame still needs the clear coat applied, we have to wait til the 2nd coat completely dries.
My 8 year old daughter Amber wanted to customize her bicycle. She came up with the idea to paint it with her school name and colors. We know in a few years she will out grow it, at that time it will be donated to the school. Watch our progress.

movie Food Inc This has to be one of the most powerful films I have seen to date. I highly suggest to anyone to view it. An inside look into the Corporate meat and poultry industries.
One thing, I always remembered about high school science classes was genetic discoveries of vegetables thanks to Gregor Mendel . Amazing how far this science has come in the last 30 years to alter all kinds of foods including animals, injecting them with hormones and even cloning. First thought might think cool, now we have a variety of vegetables to chose from in the stores. Gre-at, now cows can produce more milk than ever before, maybe reduce cost at the store. At first thought not knowing a farmer or the background blame a farmer for higher prices for any food item.
In this film find out its never the farmers. In this film start to understand where the phrase and saying down with the man/ corporations. In this film see the complete cycle from birth of “food” to how it makes it on our dinner tables, includes the fast food industry as well. The film implies we do not have freedom of speech when it comes to the meat and poultry industry.
I have longed joked P.E.T.A was a mafia, The Telco’s were a cartel from the documented practices and actions. I will joke the meat and poultry corporations and especially the ONE company that owns SOY the plant and seed in the US as dictatorship. How the U.S. can allow any one or any company completely own a plant life is incomprehensible and outraging.

My middle daughter was in the hospital with E-coli it took 3 weeks to rid, she spent another week in the hospital then 4 months on TPN at home. Within 2 weeks of her being in the hospital there was beef recall and the school district made phone calls to homes they didnt make purchases from any of the listed manufacturer. I mentioned this to the doctors and only to be shrugged off. After watching the film why not a single person interviewed my daughter or family. We learn from Kevins law it takes time before recall is publicly announced.
As consumers We must demand proper labeling of our food products. We have the right to know . WE have the right to make discussion for our own familys. We can’t allow corporations to hide ingredients or safety and health testing. Our youth is at risk , every one is at risk .
sigh. One of the hardest things about having a sharp child is their logic. My 8 year old, who I keep forgetting she is 8, in my mind she is at least 10. All last week was half day for her, teacher conferences. Friday after it had been cold and slightly raining a few days she asked me to take her swimming. My response was the pool was too cold. Her response, if she was on a swim team she would have to swim in such conditions. She continued on, I want to be on the swim team just like you were in high school. She closed with she didn’t care if her skin turned blue. (where did she get that info?) –I care myself.
(A-h man) this is worse than puppy dog eyes. The kind of eyes as a mom I ignore. What a little manipulator, I want to walk in your shoes arguement. A part me of knows this is a sign of an athlete in the making. Already seeing her be tough as nails a few years ago in soccer. Yeah, I still said no. meanest mom ever I know.
She had great logic and knew what kind of words to say. The mother in me wants to protect her from water too cold. I know her too well she wouldn’t swim long but want to linger and hang out in the jacuzzi. I know, she is blessed with athletic abilities, there are sports she hasnt tried yet and still a little early to decide which she wants to be apart of.

The following is from scratch recipe for the dumplings if do not use Bisquicks dumpling recipe.
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups all- purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Prepare: In mixing bowl beat together the egg and milk. Add the flour, salt and baking powder and mix all together. Cut the butter into the flour mixture until the mixture is crumbly. Seperate into 6 equal portions and drop into low boil (water or broth) cover for 15min, uncover for 5 minutes.
serves 4 …if family/friends really like dumplings then above serving is just not enough
